As the grass and the trees turn green - we meet up at the truly unique hotel Upperud 9:9 to embark on a great jorney together. A challenge to ride 250 miles or 402 km during this weekend on absolutely stunning backcountry roads in Dalsland. A local guide will be leading the pack and keep everything together.
Upperud 9:9 will be our base for this adventure and the place where we can relax and recharge after long days in the saddle. Organic food, great company, yoga, sauna and a dip in the clear cold water will help us recharge.
Arrival day starts with a short ride of about 75 km in the afternoon before dinner. Friday is all out in the saddle and no less then 150 km and 1500 meters of altitude will be covered before its time for dinner and relax. Saturday starts with a short yoga session before heading out for another 130 km ride on the tough backcountry roads with lots of short punchy climbs.
After a slow breakfast on Sunday we will only do another 45 km before our legs get a well deserved rest.
This is a weekend for gravel lovers who are up for a challenge. Riding will probably be at an averege of 20 kph but we will have frequent stops for energy, coffee, fika and lunch. Fika, coffee and lunch will be paid by the participants during the rides.
